Amritha Anupindi-Painting Crewhead-11th Grade
Amritha Anupindi is excited to be working on her third musical and ninth show with the Huron Players! It is her first time being the painting crewhead and her second time playing in the pit orchestra. Amritha loves to play the clarinet and likes being in the pit orchestra because it combines theater and music, two of her favorite things. Amritha has worked on the technical aspects of almost every show she has done with the Huron Players. She was extremely proud of the success of the fall show, Macbeth, and is hoping that the response for The Fantasticks will be as good, if not better. Amritha usually spends most of her free time doing homework, enjoying music, or reading, when she’s not at Huron Players. She likes to think of the members of Huron Players as a kind of family, and always loves spending time with them.

Claire is very excited to be working on her 10th show with the Huron Players. Claire is currently in her junior year at Huron. With all its challenges, Claire is even more grateful for the supportive community she finds at HP. She's inspired every day by the hard work and dedication of each member to the club. Claire is currently working as the head of set construction for The Fantasticks. While she's always been a fan of power tools, she's eager to acquire new carpentry skills and be a part of the set's creation from start to finish. She's honored to be joining the other wonderful Huron musicians as a flute player in the pit. This is her first, and quite possibly last chance to accompany a musical theater production, and she's very grateful for the opportunity. She knows this show is going to kick butt, and she can't wait for opening night!
Allison Calder-Mute-11th Grade
This is Allison's first show with Huron Players and she is so excited to be part of it. When she is not at rehearsal, she can most likely be found in a dance studio. Whether she's playing a villain in Titus Andronicus, crewheading painting for Guys and Dolls, or playing a villain again in Macbeth, she's always loved being part of the group. However, the pit orchestra has always held a special place in her heart, as that's where she started with her first show, You're A Good Man Charlie Brown; as such, it is only fitting that that is where she completes her final show, with the amazing Fantasticks orchestra. When she's not at HP, she enjoys painting or anything graphic design-related, boxing, napping, and also captains Huron's Varsity Tennis team. Post-graduation, Katia is excited to say that she plans to attend the University of Chicago to learn how to be successful and make money (major undecided).
